We live in a complicated and intense world, perplexed at times, by the inevitable passage of time, directing with difficulty the rapid changes that we are forced to attend to. The technological revolution, globalization, climate change, the generation of Millennials, among others, are just some of the many concepts that we have had to grasp to continue in the constant change, where companies must be competitive to stay in the market , where they must not only guarantee quality products and services at low cost, but also adopt and have production processes that do not pollute the environment and promote the human development of their personnel.
With the audacious growth of the population worldwide, the demand towards the consumption of goods and services has increased, bringing with it an accelerated increase in the production of these, which requires the incorporation of people to be able to perform faster these goods and services. Therefore, work is the main daily activity carried out by man and through this humanity has achieved its development, however, the type and conditions of work influence health by privileging or deteriorating it; on the other hand the environmental conditions of their work environment which end up having a direct or indirect influence.
Indirectly low incomes received by workers are translated into inadequate living conditions, poor nutrition, inadequate housing, bad services and fatal recreation, as a result the workers' organism is more susceptible to diseases and accidents and is more sensitive to the toxic effects of various substances that they use and that are present in the workplace. And in a direct way, factors such as the presence of pollutants in the environment, the implementation of fast work rhythms, the lengthening of the working day, eventually produce a deterioration in workers' health, which translates into an increase in absenteeism, decrease in life expectancy, presence of occupational diseases and work accidents, that is, adapt the work to man and each man to his work.
The Corporate Social Responsibility will help the company to become aware of its role in the development of our country, recognizing itself as an agent of change to improve the quality of life and the competitiveness of its environment.

In recent years there has been a peculiar interest in the world for social problems, the environment and Health and Safety at Work, all this product of the growing negative impact on the environment and the quality of life of people. And it is here that one enters to form part of each company, organization, of the small and medium companies (PYMES) and even of individual form THE CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY that comes being according to WBCSD, World Business Council for Sustainable Development: "The RSE is the commitment that a company assumes to contribute to sustainable economic development through collaboration with its employees, their families, their local community and society, in order to improve the quality of life. " Therefore, social responsibility is integral, gradual and proportional. "
In another order of ideas "Being socially responsible does not only mean fulfilling legal obligations, but also going beyond compliance by investing more, in human capital, in the environment and relations with the interlocutors. The experience gained with investing in eco-friendly business practices and technologies suggests that going beyond compliance with legislation can increase the company's competitiveness. The application of stricter standards than the requirements of social legislation, for example in terms of training, working conditions or relations between management and workers, can also have a direct impact on productivity. It opens a way to manage change and reconcile social development with increased connectivity. " Green Book 2001
This social framework develops the concern of how we can do to improve the living standards of the population and in particular of the workers, without putting limits on development. For this reason, some years ago, and in response to these questions, a Corporate Social Responsibility System was started based on the ISO 26000 standard, which is based on ethical principles, promoting compliance with international agreements and the laws of the Member States. different countries with respect to workers 'rights, because it can help us to improve the crisis that reflects the world in the protection of workers' health and the environment.
This tendency to be socially responsible from the business point has gained popularity among different sectors of the industry in recent years because it is considered "convenient" for companies.
"Corporate Social Responsibility is today an added value and a competitive advantage for the company. Those companies that from today incorporate or reinforce their actions of social responsibility will do so at their own pace and according to their possibilities; tomorrow they will have the requirement of the environment ". "It is, at the same time, an imperative for business and a competitive advantage. It is currently considered that the pillars of a successful business strategy are: adequate capital, good management, quality products and services, mastery of technology, customer service and a comprehensive strategy of social responsibility. All these pillars are linked together and are interdependent. "
It has been thought that the role of entrepreneurs, like that of the company is to generate profits and increase profits, and the responsibility that both have with the society in which they are immersed has been left in the background. That is why both parties should have a broader vision, that does not focus only on the inside of the company but also see the impact they can cause to their outside.
CSR is important to make a better country, but it starts with the education of people from home, schools and family to promote the promotion and development of a society with ethics and values in a world in constant growth and innovation. CSR is a management model that seeks sustainability in the medium and long term, under the direction of a management that is aware of the economic, social and environmental issues that have to do with its organization in ethical issues applied to each of its different processes such as obtaining resources, production and sales, among others and assuming the obligations it acquires towards its stakeholders called "Stakeholders" which have the interest that the company survives (managerial employees, owners, suppliers, society, governments, creditors, shareholders among others) either by legal requirement, or because they are a fundamental part of its operation or by simple conviction of the company.
We must stop seeing Corporate Social Responsibility as a way of washing blame. And understand that through CSR can improve the quality of life of many people and, thus, have a better country, which can compete in an increasingly interconnected world and increasingly open markets.
